ATTENTION F-1 STUDENTS: If you need to drop below the full course load (12 credits for undergraduate students, 9 credits for graduate students), please consult with the Office of International Services BEFORE you drop any courses.
Overview
If you are considering to withdraw from a course, please consult with your professor and advisor. Be sure to double check the deadline for withdrawing from a course.
Withdrawing from a course will result in a “W” (withdrawn) appearing on your transcript for the course. Courses marked with a “W” do not factor into a student’s grade point average (GPA) and are not considered courses attempted in assessing whether the student satisfies the requirements for graduation. Withdrawing from a course AFTER THIS DATE will result in a “WF” (withdraw fail) appearing on your transcript and will be counted to your GPA calculation.
